30 Year Anniversary of Burlington Rugby

Charitable Fundraising:

The club raised between $13,000 and $15,000 during this years fundraising season for various organizations.

March 2007

BRFC joined forces w/ Long Trail in support of the SD Ireland Cancer Research Fund. BRFC sold approximately $1,000 of raffle tickets. On St. Patrick's day BRFC escorted a convoy of SD Ireland Cement Mixers down the Church Street Marketplace; a 20 year old tradition.

February 2007

Penguin Plunge 2007 was a huge success. Congrats to all that participated & Thanks to all that donated money and made it possible….we captured the “Largest Group” title for the 3rd time in 4 years !

35+ registered and plunged… Over $10,000 was raised by our club to benefit Special Olympics Vermont.

Toys for Kids

The club has donated approximately $700 in cash and gifts in our 15th year of support.

December 2006

The Salvation Army Bellringing on Church Street  total was $1,305.
